About the Boat
Why did you choose to buy a Formula?
We bought a Formula because of the quality and its dependability.
What other kinds of boats did you consider before buying this particular model (and how did they compare)?
We looked at Tiara Open.
How did you come to find/locate her before purchasing (and what’s the boat’s history if you know it)?
We looked at 250 boats for over a year, until I found the boat in CT.
What features/improvements have you added or do you plan to add?
We have added flooring, Radar, stereo, Aqua-traction.
What are the features you like most about your boat?
We really like that we have twin diesels, with outdrives.
Who first introduced you to boating/sailing?
My Fiancé Tammy Frederickson.
Do you belong to a yacht club or other boating/sailing organizations?
Yes, Liberty Yacht Club.
What boats have you previously owned?
2 Sea Rays, and 1 Formula.
How do you typically use your boat over the summer, and where do you go?
We use it for traveling. So far, we have put 160 hrs on her, and have traveled from MV, to Boston, to Branford, CT.
What is the biggest challenge you have in servicing your boat?
Learning the ins and outs of my diesel engines.
Do you have any advice for those looking to buy a Formula like yours?
Take your time, do not rush.
What’s the story behind the boat’s name?
Our old boat was called “SeaasTheMoment” and it took us a long time to find this boat, when we did it was “WorthTheWake”
